Chief Executive Officer – Industrial Manufacturing – Private Equity, Toronto. Growing specialty manufacturing business is actively seeking a Chief Executive Officer to partner with our private equity team in leading the growth and transformation of manufacturing business – a former industry leader in a transition within its specific product categories. The Chief Executive Officer will execute growth strategies, acquisitions, margin competition, and ensure that the finance and accounting, credit and collections function is operating at an industry-best level of performance. Candidate will play a key role in transforming culture through implementation of best practices and operational efficiency programs across the company and ensure that the business builds on its leadership status in their sector. You will have background experience in specialty industrial manufacturing, ideally in a precision machining context. You will have worked in organizations focused on improved efficiency and process and ideally be familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and/or other operation improvement Business Systems (Danaher, 80/20). You will have exposure to raising capital, dealing with acquisitions from due diligence through integration and will have experience leading a business through a successful transaction. Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and work with a lean team in fulfilling all aspects of the finance and accounting function. You will have sales background experience in specialty industrial manufacturing, ideally in a precision machining context.  The position is unique in that it requires longer term customer partnership, consultation, and business development to be successful. You will have worked in organizations focused on industrial products, improved efficiency and process and ideally be familiar with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma and/or other operation improvement Business Systems. Must be willing to roll up your sleeves and work with a lean team in fulfilling all sales management aspects. Essential Duties and Responsibilities includes leading all aspects of the customer sales process, while leveraging other resources to assist in solution development or implementation, as necessary. Skills & Qualifications
5+ years of sales experience in consultative sales environment

Machine Technician

Machine Technician – Industrial Manufacturing – Private Equity, Toronto. Growing specialty manufacturing business is actively seeking an Machine Technician to work closely with plant management in leading the growth and transformation of a manufacturing business – a former industry leader in transition within its specific product categories. The Machine Technician shall help install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures. Ensures that work is in accordance with relevant codes. Job Responsibilities • Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, based on job specifications and local codes • Assemble, install, test, inspect, repair and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, or fixtures, using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and testing equipment, such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps. Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors. • Test and diagnose malfunctioning electrical systems, apparatus, or components or continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures, using testing devices, such as ohmmeters, voltmeters or oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system. Involvement with management and troubleshooting of building management HVAC system. • Work from ladders, scaffolds, or roofs to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities • Building Maintenance – Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the repair of houses, buildings, or other interior/exterior structures. • Equipment Maintenance – Performing routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed. • Millwright – Ability to safely install, dismantle, repair, reassemble, and move machinery • Knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical or Plumbing installation, troubleshooting and repair • Must be able to read and understand technical drawings and complex procedures. • Previous work experience on a Maintenance team • Strong interpretation skills with regard to technical drawings • Proven experience maintaining equipment and/or systems in a manufacturing environment • Understanding of safety and OSHA requirements in a manufacturing environment • Ability to communicate across teams and departments is essential Preferred Education/Training/Experience • High School diploma or equivalent required • Vocational training certification or Associate’s degree in related field desired.
